Title: Professional Engineer (PE) – Project-Based / Flexible Engagement
Location: United States (Alaska & North Dakota licensure strongly preferred)
Type: Contract / Project-Based (with potential for ongoing or full-time opportunities)

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a growing Canadian consulting firm delivering engineering and project solutions across the mining, utilities, and heavy industrial sectors.

As their project portfolio expands across the United States, they’re looking to build relationships with Professional Engineers (PEs) who can support review and sealing of engineering packages.

This is an opportunity to step into meaningful, technically driven work—with flexibility, autonomy, and the potential to grow into a longer-term partnership.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review engineering and design packages (drawings, calculations, supporting documentation)
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment on design intent and approach
• Participate in project review discussions as needed
• Provide professional seal on “Issued for Construction” (IFC) drawing packages
• Offer technical insight and feedback where appropriate

Who We’re Looking For

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States
• Alaska and/or North Dakota licensure (or ability to obtain) strongly preferred
• Experience in one or more disciplines:
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Structural
• Background in mining, utilities, or heavy industrial projects is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail and comfort reviewing technical documentation
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams
