With more than 16 years of experience in the mining industry, Laura Fletcher brings her passion for connecting people to MRC Recruiting.
She started her mining career in 2010 as Business Manager for a contract mining company that reopened legacy mines on behalf of their owners. From there, she moved into marketing and business development for engineering, environmental, and mining construction firms, and then into recruiting.
A self-proclaimed “Engineer Interpreter,” Laura’s technical fluency helps her connect what a client needs with the right candidate for a highly technical role. Her psychology degree from the University of Kansas underpins her recruiting ethos with a genuine curiosity about people, what motivates them, and what they’re really looking for in their next role.
Laura sits on the board of the Denver Chapter of Women in Mining (WIM) and volunteers with the WIM USA Mentor Network. Based in the greater Denver area, she spends her free time with family, on the pickleball court, on the golf course, or just out enjoying Colorado.
