Lindsey Schultz never planned on a career in mining recruitment, but like many meaningful journeys, hers took an unexpected turn. While studying human resources and organizational behavior, she began helping her father, Robert, with the family business, MRC Recruiting. What started as lending a hand quickly grew into a passion for the mining industry and the people who power it.
From coffee meetings with candidates to walking conference floors alongside her father, Lindsey immersed herself in the industry. She later pursued an MBA and certifications in Diversity & Inclusion and Organizational Effectiveness, equipping her to lead MRC into a new era.
Today, under Lindsey’s leadership, MRC Recruiting is redefining what recruitment means in mining: building high-performing teams, fostering inclusive workplaces, and shaping the industry’s future through values of diversity, transparency, and sustainability. She actively partners with SME, Women in Mining, Femina, and AEMA to champion responsible and progressive mining practices.
